A Beginner’s Guide to the Webuzo Dashboard

The first time you open the Webuzo dashboard it can feel like a lot of icons at once. The good news: it is organised into a handful of simple areas, and once you know what each one does, finding your way around takes seconds.

The main areas you will use

Domains

This is where you add and manage web addresses — your main domain, extra addon domains, subdomains and domain aliases. Think of it as the front door to every site on your account.

Email

Create mailboxes at your own domain, read them in webmail, and set up forwarders and autoresponders.

Files

The File Manager and FTP accounts live here. This is how your website’s files get onto the server.

Databases

Create MySQL databases and open phpMyAdmin to manage their content.

Apps (Softaculous)

Webuzo has Softaculous built in, so you can install WordPress and hundreds of other applications in a couple of clicks.

Handy things to notice

• Statistics at the top show your disk, bandwidth and email usage — a quick way to spot when you are running low.
• SSL / TLS is where you switch on a free Let’s Encrypt certificate.
• PHP lets you change your PHP version and settings.

Is the Webuzo dashboard the same as cPanel?
