How to Set Up an Autoresponder (Vacation Message) in Webuzo

An autoresponder sends an automatic reply to anyone who emails you — ideal for holidays, busy periods, or simply letting people know you have received their message and will respond soon.

Create an autoresponder in Webuzo

  1. Log in to your Webuzo Enduser Panel.
  2. Open the Email section and click Autoresponders (or Auto Reply).
  3. Choose the email account the reply should come from.
  4. Fill in a subject and the message you want senders to receive.
  5. Optionally set a start and end time so it switches off by itself.
  6. Click Add (or Save).

Writing a good away message

Keep it short, warm and useful. A solid template:

Thanks for your email. I’m away until 15 March and will reply as soon as I’m back. For anything urgent, please contact my colleague at colleague@yourdomain.com. — Your Name

Give people an alternative contact and a return date, and avoid sharing that your home or office is empty.

Frequently asked questions

Will it reply to the same person over and over?

No. Autoresponders include a built-in interval so repeat senders are not flooded with the same message within a short time.

Can I schedule it in advance?

Yes — set the start and end times when you create it, and Webuzo turns it on and off automatically.

Should I use an autoresponder or a forwarder?

They do different jobs. An autoresponder replies to senders; a forwarder passes mail to another address. You can use both together.
