How to Create Email Filters in Webuzo

Email filters put your inbox on autopilot. They can move newsletters into a folder, forward certain messages to a colleague, or send obvious spam straight to the bin — all automatically, the moment mail arrives. Webuzo lets you build these rules without any technical know-how.

Create a filter in Webuzo

  1. Log in to your Webuzo Enduser Panel.
  2. Open the Email section and click Email Filters (or Filters).
  3. Choose whether the filter applies to one mailbox or the whole domain.
  4. Click Create a New Filter and give it a clear name.

Build the rule

A filter has two parts — a condition and an action:

  • Condition — for example, From contains newsletter@, or Subject contains invoice.
  • Action — deliver to a folder, forward to another address, or discard the message.

Set your condition and action, then save. The filter runs automatically on all new mail.

Handy filter ideas

  • Send order or invoice emails to a dedicated folder so they never get lost.
  • Forward anything to support@ on to your team — pair with forwarders.
  • Bin messages with obvious spam phrases in the subject.

Frequently asked questions

Do filters work with webmail and my phone?

Yes. Server-side filters run before mail is delivered, so they apply everywhere — webmail, phone and desktop alike.

Can a filter stop spam completely?

Filters help, but they are not a full spam solution. Combine them with correct SPF and DKIM records for the best results.

My filter is not catching messages.

Check the condition matches exactly (watch for extra spaces), and confirm the filter is enabled for the right mailbox or domain.
