How to Create a Hosting Package in the Webuzo Admin Panel

If you run a Webuzo server — whether for clients, a team, or several of your own sites — hosting packages let you define reusable sets of limits. Instead of setting disk space, bandwidth and features by hand for every account, you create a package once and apply it in seconds. This is an admin-level task.

Create a package

1. Log in to the Webuzo Admin Panel.
2. Open the Packages (or Plans) section and choose Add Package.
3. Give the package a clear name, such as Starter or Business.
4. Set the limits — disk space, bandwidth, number of domains, subdomains, email accounts, databases and FTP accounts.
5. Choose which features and apps the package can access.
6. Save the package.

Sensible package design

• Leave headroom — set limits a little above typical use so accounts are not constantly capped.
• Name tiers clearly so you (and your customers) can tell them apart.
• Review over time — adjust limits as real-world usage becomes clear.

With packages ready, you can apply one whenever you create a new user.

Can I change a package after accounts are using it?

Yes. Editing a package updates the accounts assigned to it, so you can raise limits across a tier at once.

How is this different from cPanel/WHM packages?
