How to Create a Mailing List in cPanel

A mailing list lets you send one email to many people at once using a single address, like team@yourdomain.com. Everyone subscribed receives it — ideal for team announcements, newsletters or group discussions. cPanel includes a mailing list manager (Mailman) to set this up.

Create a mailing list

1. Log in to cPanel and open Email → Mailing Lists.
2. Click Add Mailing List.
3. Enter a name (this becomes the list address) and choose your domain.
4. Set an administrator password and choose whether the list is public or private.
5. Click Add.

Add subscribers and manage settings

Once created, click Manage next to the list to open its admin area, where you can:

• Add or remove subscribers, individually or in bulk.
• Choose who can post — anyone, or only members.
• Set whether new members need approval.
• Enable moderation to review messages before they go out.
