How to Enable/Disable SpamAssassin

Written by VernalWeb

When you enable SpamAssassin, it uses scores to rate the likelihood that a message is a spam.  You can configure SpamAssassin to automatically delete messages marked as spam however, we do not recommend enabling this feature.

Enable/Disable SpamAssassin From cPanel:

1 Login to your cPanel account.

2 Seach for Email section in the search box.

3 In the Email section of the cPanel home screen, click “Spam Filters”.

4 On this page find the email account that you are trying to configure, and press the “Set Up Mail Client” link:

5 Click on “Enable Spam Assassin” or “Disable Spam Assassin” depending on what you are trying to achieve.
