How to View Your Website Statistics (AWStats) in Webuzo
Want to know how many people visit your site, which pages they love, and where they come from? Webuzo includes built-in statistics tools like AWStats that turn your server logs into clear, visual reports — no tracking code required.
Open your statistics
- Log in to your Webuzo Enduser Panel.
- Open the Statistics (or Logs) section.
- Click AWStats and choose the domain you want to review.
What the reports tell you
- Visitors and visits — how many unique people came, and how often.
- Top pages — your most popular content, so you know what is working.
- Referrers — which sites and search engines send you traffic.
- Bandwidth — how much data your visitors used.
- Browsers and countries — useful for understanding your audience.
Server stats vs Google Analytics
AWStats reads your raw server logs, so it counts everything — including bots. Tools like Google Analytics use a tracking script and focus on real human visitors. Many site owners use both: server stats for the full picture, Analytics for audience behaviour.
Frequently asked questions
Why are my visitor numbers higher than in Google Analytics?
Server statistics include bots, crawlers and every request, while Analytics filters for real users. The gap is normal.
My statistics look empty or out of date.
Stats are generated from logs on a schedule, so a brand-new site or recent traffic may not appear yet. Check back after some traffic has been logged.
Do statistics slow my website down?
No — they are generated from logs on the server, separately from your live site, so visitors are unaffected.
